Fire & Fury & Ferrante

You’d have to be hibernating to miss the stir created by Michael Wolff’ Fire and Fury: Inside Trump’s White House, No. 1 on the New York Times hardcover nonfiction and combined nonfiction best seller lists, having sold nearly 200,000 copies through February 14. Here’s more news: On February 28, Vintage Español will publish a Spanish-language edition (384p. pap. ISBN 9780525564287 $13.95; ebk. ISBN 9780525564294). Meanwhile, word has come that elusive and illustrious Italian author Elena Ferrante will be writing a weekly column for the Guardian’s Weekend magazine, her first ever regular newspaper column. Not surprisingly, the essays will focus on the personal.
