Audiobook Month Audies Giveaway: Solo Narration—Male

June is Audiobook Month! To celebrate, LJ and audiobook publishers are giving away the nominated books in eight Audie Awards categories, including the Audie for distinction in Solo Narration: Male.

To enter the giveaway for all of the audiobooks listed below (on CD or as digital files—your choice, though some titles may be available only as one or the other), listen to the clips and leave a comment below telling us if you think the right narrator was awarded the prize or if you would have given it to someone else.

The contest will remain open until June 21 at noon EDT, at which point a winner will be chosen at random. One entry per person, please.

    It’s quite clear why each of these were up for an Audie, I will definitely be seeking out each and every one of these. Beautiful Ruins is at the very top though, I completely agree with Edoardo Ballerini winning as Best Narrator. He did an amazing job, the clip alone sold me.

    I like all the readers, but my vote would probably go to Hoffman or Firth depending on a longer reading.
    Maloney would be in the running, but the technical part of the recording (level way too low) hurts this one.
    It would be very hard to listen to THE ABSOLUTIST in any situation other than near total silence. Even road noise might overpower the recording.
