Have Breakfast at ALA Midwinter with Jill McCorkle, Jacqueline Winspear, and More

As ALA Midwinter in Seattle approaches, here’s a reminder that it need not be all work. The ALA Midwinter 2013 Breakfast and BookTalk, sponsored by the Association of American Publishers’ Trade Libraries Committee and Library Journal, will  brighten up your day while reminding you why you’re stumping around to all those meetings. Once again, I’m honored to be asked to introduce the authors. The event is Monday, January 28, from 8:30 to 10:00, and is held at the convention center.

Authors range from the sparkling Jill McCorkle (Life After Life, Algonquin) and 5 Under 35 author Amity Gaige (Schroder, Twelve: Hachette), to Oprah honoree Christina Schwarz (The Edge of the Earth, Atria: Simon & Schuster) and National Book Award finalist Deb Caletti (He’s Gone, Bantam), to Razorbill pubisher Ben Schrank (Love Is a Canoe, Sarah Crichton Bks: Farrar) and wondrous mystery writer Jacqueline Winspear (Leaving Everything Most Loved, HarperCollins) of Maisie Dobbs fame.
