ALTAFF Author Programs at ALA: For Book Lovers of Every Stripe

Jay Caspian Kang’s tart, funny, and eye-openingly over-the-edge first novel, The Dead Do Not Improve. Jean Zimmerman’s The Orphanmaster, an invigorating historical set in Dutch New York. Tessa Dare’s daring heroine in A Week To Be Wicked, who risks all for science and instead finds love. Bioethicist Jonathan D. Moreno’s Mind Wars: Science and the Military in the 21st Century, which raises issues that won’t go away.
