Listening to Marie Bostwick

Combining stories of women facing the challenges of life with the aid of a close group of friends and her love of quilting, Connecticut-based author Marie Bostwick (see Q&A, LJ 9/15/07) has created the charming Cobbled Court series, which began with A Single Thread (LJ 10/15/08), followed by A Thread of Truth (LJ 6/1/09; audiobook, Nov. 2010) and the latest, A Thread So Thin (audiobook, Dec. 2010). With the Blackstone recordings making their appearance, Marie is offering on her website a free copy of the Single Thread audiobook to be donated to your library. But you’ve got to act fast; the deadline is November 1. Go to for details.
