Reminder: Don’t Miss the Great United for Libraries Panels at ALA

Last week, I highlighted United for Libraries’ great author events, and here’s a final reminder to check them out. They start first thing on Saturday, June 28, at 8:30 a.m. with Isn’t It Romantic and include Quirky Books for Quirky Librarians (Saturday, June 28, at 3:00 p.m.),ufl the ever-popular First Author, First Book (Sunday, June 29, at 8:30 a.m.), Hot Picks for Book Clubs (Sunday, June 29, at 10:30 a.m.), and Hot Books from Small Presses (Sunday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m.)—a new initiative I hope attendees will embrace. The authors are always excellent, and you won’t have to go far—all panels are at the convention center. Hoping to see you there.
