Upcoming: The BEA Galley Guide, LJ’s First-Ever Author Webcast, & the Librarians’ Town Hall Meeting at Day of Dialog

Busy times at Library Journal! The annual BEA galley guide will be hitting your inboxes mid-May. On Tuesday, April 29, we launch a new author webcast series with “Hachette Hot Reads: IMG scally13 Upcoming: The BEA Galley Guide, LJs First Ever Author Webcast, & the Librarians Town Hall Meeting at Day of DialogSummer Fun with Grand Central, Little, Brown & More,” featuring smashingly funny Susan Jane Gilman discussing her affecting debut novel, The Ice Cream Queen of Orchard Street, and National Book Award finalist Joshua Ferris with his thought-provoking To Rise Again at a Decent Hour. Finally, Day of Dialog is coming Wednesday, May 28, with response so good that registration is already closed. Even if you can’t come, we need your help with the day’s hands-on, librarian-run town hall event, focusing on key materials issues. What are your biggest concerns? Let us know (comments field below), and we’ll include them in our event.
