Excerpts from the audio interview:
Q: Most of your books fall into the so-called paranormal romance genre; how do you feel about that category?
A: I love the paranormal romance genre. It’s a really wide blank canvas; there’s so much room to move within it. As long as I remain true to the rules of my world, I can go wherever my imagination takes me. … Most writers, we start with the “what if” question: “What if archangels ruled the world?” And with paranormal, you can really take that “what if” question to the edge. I love that freedom.
Q: What do your Psy/Changeling and Guild Hunter series have in common, and what’s different?
A: They’re both paranormal and set in alternate realities on Earth. Beyond that, they’re very different and I love that about them, because as a writer it’s a good change to go from one to the other. The Psy/Changeling series has a very warm heart because it’s set in the pack and family oriented; the Guild Hunter series is much darker.
