Samhain Publishing may exemplify a new trend in providing books to readers by publishing titles first as ebooks and later as trade paperbacks. Since 2011, they have expanded their presence at trade shows and conventions, appearing at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2011, the World Horror Convention in March 2012, the RT Booklovers Convention and the London Book Fair in April 2012, and ThrillerFest and the Romance Writers of America National Conference in July 2012. In addition to Jonathan Janz’s House of Skin (reviewed in the September 15 issue), Samhain has four more horror titles scheduled for September publication: Hunter Shea’s Evil Eternal (216p.
