The Pew Foundation’s Internet and American Life Project has just released the report, “The Future of Higher Education,” by Janna Anderson, Jan Lauren Boyles, and Lee Rainie. The report, part of Pew’s “Future of the Internet” series done in collaboration with the Elon University “Imagining the Internet” project, is a compilation of responses to some specific questions from a wide variety of quite informed people, along with some synthesis. It’s not surprising that much of the emphasis here is on the role of the Internet and of technologies broadly.
