RITA winner 2012
Notable among the Romance Writers of America 2012 RITA Awards for best books of 2011 are two digital publications, marking a significant turn in publishing in general but certainly in the ebook-popular romance genre. Caroline Linden’s novella I Love the Earl is an Avon Impulse title, and most impressive is Fiona Lowe’s Boomerang Bride, from Carina: Harlequin, in the very prestigious category of Contemporary Single Title Romance. Yes, indeed. Ebooks have made their presence felt in a very loud way.
The Golden Heart Awards for best manuscripts were also presented in Anaheim, CA, July 28. Will they eventually be published and launch these authors onto illustrious careers? Keep watching.
