HarperAudio Debuting 15 Milan Kundera Works as Downloadable Audio

If you’re a Milan Kindera fan listen up: HarperAudio announced this morning that beginning May 15 it is releasing 15 of Milan Kundera’s fiction/nonfiction titles as unabridged downloadable audiobooks. These titles never have been available previously in any audio format. The publisher said that the series will launch with The Unbearable Lightness of Being and The Book of Laughter and Forgetting in May with novels: The Joke; Immortality; Slowness; Identity; Ignorance; Farewell Waltz; Life is Elsewhere; Curtain; Encounter; short story collection Laughable Loves; and works of non-fiction: The Art of the Novel and Testaments Betrayed will be available shortly thereafter.

Kundera’s play, Jacques and His Master, translated by Simon Callow, will be published as both a physical book and audiobook. It will be the first time this translation will be available in North America.

Veteran actors and audiobook readers Richmond Hoxie will narrate the fiction titles and Graeme Malcolm will do the honors with the nonfiction.
