Beginning Again

Having posted commentary on 80 books in the last 96 hours‚ 42 July 2012 titles as I catch up after the holidays, and 38 2011 titles as I wave good-bye to the old year with a Best Short Stories list and more‚ I’m a little written out. So other thanIMG scally2 Beginning Again welcoming you back to Prepub Alert, I’m not sure I have much that’s fresh and bracing to offer. I can say that Prepub Alert remains a work in progress (and I suppose I’ll never really want it to be done), with more thought this year to thematic arrangement, genre coverage, editor interviews, and more. In the meantime, the books keep coming, with a big array of promising titles in July, once a quiet month. No more.
