In my October 8th post about ProQuest’s free new resource, Black Literature Index, I idly wondered if it might be possible to get a free trial to their Black Studies Center and Historical Black Newspapers… and ProQuest came through with a free trial in very short order. To get access to Black Studies Center (with all the links to Historical Black Newspapers activated), just go to:
