Just in time for the new school year, Teen Health and Wellness from Rosen Publishing is offering a free “Stop Bullying” Tool Kit. The kit includes new “Stop Bullying” posters and bookmarks, a Bullying Prevention PowerPoint, and a flyer with links to cyberbullying legislation state-by-state. You can download the materials in the Tool Kit at: http://teenhealthandwellness.com/static/bullying_toolkit.
At the same time, Rosen is generously giving e-Views readers another free trial to Teen Health and Wellness. Just go to: http://teenhealthandwellness.com and use these log-ins:
Username: eviews
Password: trial
This trial is good through September 30th.
While you’re trying the file, you should also check out the free Teen Hotlines mobile app, now available in the iTunes store. It lists hotlines, help lines, and Web sites by subjects ranging from school violence and depression to eating disorders and suicide. The national organizations listed in the hotlines can refer teens to state and local services in their community (there’s also an Ontario-specific app for Canadian readers). Kudos to Rosen Publishing for making another valuable resource available to libraries and the wider community.
More as it happens,
Cheryl
