Holy Politicians! Obama, McCain Get Comic Books

Having conquered Hollywood, comic books continue their quest for world domination by hitting the political road. The Los Angeles Times’s graphic novels/sf blog, Hero Complex , reports that that comics publisherIDW Publishing, best known for horror titles (30 Days of Night), this October will release a pair of graphic novels, Presidential Material: Barack Obama, written by Jeff Mariotte and drawn by Tom Morgan, and Presidential Material John McCain, authored  by Andy Helfer and illustrated by Stephen Thompson, that chronicle the lives of the two presidential contenders. If you are worried about which title to buy, don’t worry. IDW is putting both novels into a $3.99 flip book. Let your patrons vote on which cover they prefer to be displayed on your library’s shelves.
